Last night when I was talking to my son Patryck I realized that I failed in preparing him to cook healthy. He knows how to make spaghetti and burgers (I think) but he doesn't know what to do with a chicken breast. So, I've decided to write short little cookbooks to help him cook healthy.
He is spending tons of money eating out and it's time that he found his way into the kitchen and cooked some healthy good food. I am on a mission. So watch this website for my cook book booklet that I will publish here first, before putting together an e-book for distribution on Amazon. I'm excited. I can't wait to put this cookbook together.
What do you like in a no-nonsense cookbook? Do you also like to learn about what you are cooking? I can't help but teach something when I write a cookbook. I've ghostwritten several cookbooks and always have to stick to what the client wants. I am happy that I'm finally doing my own book my way. So, I'll be sure to teach you something new in each booklet.
Christmas Shopping
Are you done with your Christmas Shopping? I started last night. As usual, I have to wait until I have the funds to shop so I'll be cutting it pretty close to Christmas Eve. I have no idea what to buy my grown up boys. I'm also at a loss at what to buy my grandson Jaxxon? What are the latest hottest toys out there?
Last year I got Jaxxon a CD player. It wasn't the most obvious gift for a 1 year-old but I wanted Jaxxon to have music in his room. I think that exposing a child to good music is essential for their development. And, don't forget to throw in a little classic rock in between the Mozart! From what I gathered he and his dad listened to a lot of baseball games together. They are NY Yankee fans. Anybody have any good links to online stores that sell fan gear?
Back to work
Well, I better get back to work. I'm really looking forward to learning everything about chicken breasts and writing something that won't put you to sleep. Although with the epidemic of insomnia out there - maybe writing something that will put you to sleep wouldn't be that bad of an idea??
I'm interested to know what you find helpful in a cookbook. What features do you like the best and what do you think cookbooks need more of? I'll put a comment box at the end of this post for you.
Take Care and Be Well
Always,
Jo
I'd love to know what you think
